Course Description

This course provides an in-depth examination of modern macroeconomic theory and empirical methods. Students will develop skills in structural econometric modeling and learn to apply these techniques to contemporary macroeconomic questions. Topics include dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models, estimation methods, and policy evaluation.

  • Intermediate Macroeconomics
  • Econometrics

  • Problem Sets: 40%
  • Midterm Exam: 25%
  • Final Project: 35%
